The Director will not be issuing an amended order for this appeal. The respondent will need to provide a notice of compliance (see Utah Code 63G-2-403(15)) if they do not opt to appeal to the district court. At that point, if you have any concerns about records provided by the respondent, you may want to consider mediation per Utah Code 63G-2-404(1)(b).Respectfully,~RebekkahGovernment Records OfficeDivision of Archives and Records ServiceUtah Department of Government Operations
Ms. Shaw,
Thank you for your response and for confirming that the Director will not be issuing an amended order in this appeal.
For the sake of a clear record, I would appreciate one point of clarification from the Director (or your office on the Director’s behalf) regarding the existing order:
Am I correct in understanding that, apart from the specific aspect addressed in the Director’s decision, no other portion of the relief sought in § VI of the notice of appeal has been expressly denied?
My question here is limited to the scope of the current order itself so that I can accurately understand what, if anything, remains unresolved or denied before considering next steps.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Joe Puente
